7 Islands Bridge to Pontook Dam

Sunday July 13th
9AM Meet at parking lot by 7 Islands Bridge 7.7 miles south of the center of the town of Errol off of Route 16.
Paddle 9.2 miles into the Pontook Reservoir . There are a few sections of quick water early on but the river flattens out and slows down as you approach the dam. Take out is above Pontook Dam.

Shuttle directions–turn left out of Seven Islands parking lot and travel 8.2.miles to Pontook Reservoir Park on the left. 

Put in: N 44°42.841 W 071°10.428'
Take Out: N44°38.022' W071°14.846'

For those hard core paddlers, you can put in below the dam and paddle down to Bofinger Conservation Area since the dam releases water on weekends for recreational boaters. This section has some class three rapids when there is a water release but can be a very bony paddle during the week when the water release is much lower. The take out point would be
