An easy and nice paddle through Gulf Island Pond, which border's one of Maine's newest state parks, the Androscoggin Riverlands.
Meet at 9 am at Center Bridge (on Center Bridge Road) in Turner. Take out will be at Cherry Pond on the River Road in Greene.
Distance: approximately 10 miles.
Activity:
Don Weston, Community Veteran Leader, from Androscoggin Riverlands State Park will meet paddlers half way down the river. Don will take us on an (optional) interpretive historical tour of the park.
