Presentation
: Ethel Wilkerson coordinator of the Clean Water Carbon Fund will talk about how healthy forests provide clean water to communities along the Androscoggin River and how planting trees on river banks can help make the Androscoggin a better river.
Ethel is an ecologist with Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences. She has spent over 10 years working helping landowners keep forests and streams healthy.
This spring, the Clear Water Carbon Fund partnered with the Androscoggin River Watershed Council to plant 300 trees in West Bethel on a tributary to the Androscoggin River.
