Celebrate the Little Androscoggin River, Land Conservation, the Town of Paris and Western Foothills Land Trust. Come prepared to paddle the Little Androscoggin River, but if the water is too low there will be plenty to peak your interest. There will be discussion on land conservation in the area and animal and plant life along the river. Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation will provide some demos and a scavenger hunt to identify plants and animals.
"Paddle, picnic, games and activities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act. Bring your own boats for the canoe, kayak, or paddleboard paddle to take place at 10:30 AM, water levels permitting. Join us for a picnic around lunch time and many activities including games for adults and kids, fly fishing demo and newbie competition, scavenger hunt and nature walks and discussion
