Flat water & surprisingly beautiful with potential for eagle sightings. Start in downtown Mexico and transition into rural farm fields and hills.
Meet at 8:30 am at the NEW boat launch behind the Family Dollar on Main St./Route 2 in Mexico Take out is at the Eagle Creek boat launch on the Canton Point Road in Dixfield.There will be a tour of the Rumford Dam in Rumford prior to the paddle. ARWC will provide shuttle service to the Dam site for the tour. Please show up no later than 8:30 AM at the launch site to car pool to the Rumford Dam tour. Please wear jeans (or other cotton pants), steel or closed toed shoes for the tour. No shorts, sandals or synthetic pants due to safety regulations.
