Conference Highlights:  Join your friends of the Androscoggin River at the 19th Annual Androscoggin River Conference.  Presenters from numerous state and regional groups will present information, lead discussions and answer your questions on topics including cold water fisheries; water quality; youth involvement in trail maintenance, water quality and recreation; and riverfronts and land trail connections.  We will also discuss developing relationships among our communities our lands and our economies. 

A session will discuss the continuing effort to evaluate the potential to develop an Androscoggin River Institute or network that would bring  government entities, non-profits, and academic institutions. Bowdoin College is currently surveying stake holders regarding river issues and potential collaboration.There will be an open discussion to solicit input from participants.  

Who should attend:  Anyone interested in the Androscoggin River, its watershed and improvements to the water, habitat and communities.  Stakeholders from non-profits and other entities involved with the river, its watershed and communities.  Government officials ranging from state and federal officials to elected representatives and staff of local governments.  Representatives from the academic community at the high school and college levels.
